How We Help Clients
We provide targeted technical support across integrity, data, and compliance:
In-line Inspection (ILI) Data Review and Anomaly Prioritization
Independent evaluation of in-line inspection data to identify and prioritize conditions that may impact safe operation.Support includes anomaly screening, interaction assessment, and development of prioritized dig lists with engineering justification. Evaluations are aligned with recognized methodologies such as ASME B31G and Modified B31G where applicable.
Integrity Assessment and Technical Analysis
Engineering-based assessment of corrosion, dents, and other pipeline threats to support repair and maintenance decisions.Work includes remaining strength evaluation, review of interacting features, and identification of conditions that may require immediate or scheduled response.
Regulatory and Compliance Support
Development and review of documentation to support Integrity Management Programs and regulatory compliance.Support includes alignment with 49 CFR 192 and 195 requirements, audit preparation, and evaluation of records to ensure they are traceable, verifiable, and complete.
Integrity Reporting and Decision Support
Preparation of clear, structured reports that support internal decision-making and external review.Deliverables are designed to communicate technical findings in a way that supports engineering teams, management, and regulatory stakeholders.
GIS and Data Integration Support
Alignment of inspection data with pipeline centerlines, asset records, and spatial datasets. This improves traceability, supports data validation, and provides better visibility into asset condition across systems.
Operational Data and Workflow Improvement
Analysis of work order systems, inspection records, and maintenance data to improve efficiency and reporting.Support includes development of dashboards, identification of data gaps, and recommendations to improve consistency and usability of operational data. Work is supported by structured data analysis and modern workflows to improve consistency, speed, and defensibility of results.

About
Gustafson Integrity Services LLC is an Alaska-based consulting firm providing pipeline integrity, data analysis, and technical support services for critical infrastructure systems.
The company was founded by a pipeline integrity engineer with experience supporting integrity programs, in-line inspection (ILI) assessments, and repair decision processes for major pipeline systems in Alaska and the Lower 48. This includes work involving anomaly evaluation, dig prioritization, and coordination between engineering, operations, and field execution.
Our approach is grounded in practical, field-informed engineering. We focus on turning complex inspection data and operational information into clear, defensible outputs that support safe operation, regulatory compliance, and effective maintenance planning.
Work is aligned with applicable industry practices and regulatory expectations, including Integrity Management Program requirements under 49 CFR 192 and 195. Deliverables are structured to support traceable, verifiable, and complete records, and to stand up to internal and external review.
Gustafson Integrity Services provides flexible support to operators, utilities, and consulting teams, offering both independent technical evaluation and integration with existing programs.
